Indian Trail Cupboard Manager

We’re so excited to introduce you to our newest member of the team, Kevin Kovanis.

If you’ve volunteered at one of our Indian Trail-area evening pantries recently, Kevin will look familiar as he’s been serving there. But with Ayana off to pursue a master’s degree (Good luck!) we’re so glad that Kevin will be stepping up as our Indian Trail Cupboard Manager.

Kevin said he wanted to work with Common Heart to “help give back to others for the goodness God has given me in my life.” He said he loves meeting volunteers and many of the neighbors who need food.

He has a whopping 11 siblings (!) and has been married for 32 years. He’s a proud father of two and a grandfather of two. And if you can’t tell from his sweatshirt — he’s a huge Gators fan!
