We’re excited to introduce you to another new member of our staff, Amber Mercier, Indian Trail Evening Pantry Manager. If you’ve volunteered recently to help with our Monday or Thursday evening pantries you’ve met Amber!

This dedicated Mom of 3 has entered back into the workforce with a purpose.

“I didn’t want to just get a job simply for a paycheck,” she said. “I wanted to include my passion for helping my family and my community find hope in life.”

Amber said the best part of the job so far has been “meeting so many wonderful people” and seeing “hope in all the smiles and thank yous” from our neighbors receiving food.

Her family has 3 cats and Amber loves to learn – especially about science & history. She also enjoys singing and writing.
