We’re so excited to introduce another new member to the Common Heart team … Ginger Tucker, Empowerment Center Manager. 

A native of Marshville, Ginger has spent her first weeks on the job here meeting new people and making connections in the area to spread the word about our new East Union Empowerment Center.

She has a long history of working with nonprofits, including serving on the board of Union County Crisis Assistance Ministry for 9 years and she was the Director of Church & Community Ministries for Union Baptist Association in the 1990s. 

Ginger said she was attracted to Common Heart because of her “desire to help make a difference in the lives of people living in eastern Union County.” She’s been key to bringing the Common Heart Hunger Walk to Marshville this year as a second walk location.  

She also owns an awards & engraving business in Marshville. Her hobbies include beekeeping and “keeping up with the animals on my little farm.” Welcome, Ginger!
