NEW workshops coming!

We’re thrilled to announce a couple of upcoming workshops where you can deepen your understanding of our neighbors in poverty and build truly empowering relationships. These workshops will provide valuable insights and practical knowledge on how we can truly create a small revolution of kindness in our community.

During these workshops, you will have the opportunity to hear directly from individuals who have experienced poverty and gain a deeper understanding of their challenges and triumphs. Our expert facilitators will guide you through meaningful discussions and interactive activities that will help foster empathy and encourage action.

To ensure your spot, simply click on the registration links below and secure your place in our upcoming workshops. We encourage all our volunteers, regardless of background or previous knowledge, to join us on this journey towards stronger, more compassionate community where everyone can thrive.

August 19: Registration open now for our next Bridges Out of Poverty workshop on Bridges is the framework for everything we do at Common Heart. This training provides an understanding of the hidden rules for individuals in poverty, middle class, and wealth, with the goal of providing avenues of success for all.

September 16: Brand new offering! The Power of TED* The Empowerment Dynamic. For the past several years we have offered this training as part of our Stability & Growth workshops for graduates of Getting Ahead. With this workshop, we begin to offer a full Power of TED* Workshop to our allies, volunteers, and partners as well. Our focus is on “3 Vital Questions” for empowerment and change. Where am I putting my focus? How am I relating? What actions am I taking? Register online.
