“Daniel” stopped by our Marshville office last week looking for food to help feed his children. He’s a single father and said though he doesn’t qualify for food stamps he’s struggling to make sure they have enough to eat.

Thanks to donations from friends like YOU we were able to provide an emergency box of food for his family and pass along information about our traditional pantries. We were thrilled to hear that he went to the drive-thru pantry at Wingate Baptist Church where he received about a week’s worth of groceries for his household including meat & fresh produce.

Common Heart’s food pantries are a lifeline for our hungry neighbors. Each month, about 5,500 individuals are served through 10 pantry programs. Due to the pandemic and now inflation, Common Heart food pantries have seen many more families seeking help. In 2022, Common Heart provided 1,472,304 meals to 13,416 people!
