We know there’s power in kindness … and flowers!!

Thanks to our friends at Trader Joe’s-Charlotte, NC , we’ve recently been able to giveaway flower bouquets along with free groceries at some of our evening food pantries.

The location of the flower power changes so as many people as possible have a chance to get some, but the reactions are always the same, our Operations Manager Nelson Hardin said.

“People are crying, hugging and sometimes even dancing. It’s a huge deal for people,” he said. “I encourage the volunteers who are handing these out to really get excited about it because they mean a lot to people.”

What an easy way to brighten someone’s day!!
