We’re so thrilled to introduce you to another amazing addition to our team, Michael Hayes, Indian Trail Pantry Manager. 

Michael loves serving others and that’s what attracted him to apply at Common Heart. He also serves as a part-time coordinator with our friends at the Community Shelter of Union County in Monroe. 

“I’m at a point in life where serving others is significant in all that I do. Common Heart provides the platform to do just that where I live,” he said. “I hope to grow into the community even further to reach more of our neighbors with not only food but a genuine interest in helping them back on their feet.”

Michael doesn’t have any kids of his own (he’s the fun uncle!), but loves coaching youth sports and attending Lee Park Church. 

“So far, this has been a rewarding opportunity to meet a lot of new and interesting people. I love hearing stories of people moving forward in life despite difficult times,” he said.
