In this New Year, we have many reasons to celebrate — including a RECORD-BREAKING 14 graduates from our most recent Getting Ahead session!

These dedicated and hard-working moms, dads, grandmas and grandpas put in the hard work over the last several months investigating poverty in our community and in their own lives.

“I’m just so proud of these graduates. It makes me smile when I think about where they started and how much they’ve all grown,” Ruth Wilson, GA facilitator said.

GA graduates are also eligible for free professional life coaching to help them achieve the goals they set for themselves. Our innovative Emergency Savings Incentive Program allows graduates to earn a $500 emergency savings account as they build skills needed for success.

We’re gearing up for the start of our next Getting Ahead session and you can help by donating disposable forks and bowls for the dinners these families enjoy 2x/week. You can’t learn if you’re hungry!
