New partner: Rea View Elementary School
A Getting Ahead story: Dreams are still within reach
September 4, 2026
We loved spending time with our new friends at Rea View Elementary School who hosted us last week for a presentation on food insecurity and how it impacts kids, too!
We’re so grateful to partner with Rea View this school year! They’ll be hosting food drives, making kindness cards, packing snack bags and more!

Our local community programs sometimes focus solely on the immediate need, which can overlook long-term sustainability for the children involved. I have seen similar initiatives struggle when volunteer engagement drops after the initial excitement fades.
