Thanks to our friends at The Street Dog Coalition, 18 dogs & 9 cats belonging to our Getting Ahead graduates and Cupboard Ally neighbors got free medical care recently! Treatments included an exam and any necessary shots, heartworm tests, flea and ear mite treatments and preventatives like medications for ticks, fleas & heartworms.

Any pets that weren’t already spayed or neutered received vouchers to have those surgeries performed for free at a local clinic.

This was our third partnership event with Street Dog and we’re looking forward to being able to host more vet clinics to help more families keep their pets healthy.
