When Common Heart volunteer Brian Cross started delivering groceries last year to “Brenda,” each month as part of our Cupboard Allies program he wasn’t sure what to expect. But it didn’t take long before they were sharing laughs and photos of their kids.

This unique program is creating supportive friendships across Union County. It’s not just about delivering groceries, but building friendships, providing encouragement and increasing hope.

We still need a few more volunteers to provide the monthly groceries needed to support families like “Brenda’s” at our new Marshville location.
