June is here with all the busyness and joy of school ending, summer vacations, and graduations.

The photo above captures one word perfectly: community. Every heart on the wall represents a person, local business, or church that gave during last month’s Kickstart Kindness campaign.

It’s a beautiful reminder that when we give what we can, BIG things happen! Together, 263 donors raised almost $120,000 to provide food and life-changing empowerment programs for families in our community.

People often thank me for what we do at Common Heart, but the truth is this work only happens because of YOU. Families are being fed and finding hope because of the kindness and generosity of this amazing community.

Before you kick off your summer celebrations, keep reading for updates and ways your family can help.  

And stay tuned for more details on our summer campaign where your donations will help bridge the gap for children who rely on breakfast and lunch at school. Without that resource over the next few months, we know we’ll see even more families who need groceries (and hope!).
