We got a call last week from Vivian, a retired senior citizen with “very little food left” in her home. She’s waiting for food stamps, but until then wasn’t sure how she would get groceries. We were able to get her an emergency food box and added her to our monthly Cupboard Ally food delivery program. Her reaction was filled with joy. “This is so wonderful. Oh my goodness, I feel a lot of relief. It’s so good to know there are people out there who do things like this.”
