

SNAP food stamp cuts are here. 18,812 Union County residents will not receive their SNAP food stamp benefits this month (source: NCDHHS.gov).
While we’re still focused on the Great Turkey Countdown for Thanksgiving meals, we also know these changes will bring increased need at our food pantries — likely as soon as Monday, November 3. To everyone who has already called, donated, or organized a food drive — thank you!
