WE DID IT!!! Thanks to our amazingly generous community 1,550 families (and counting!) facing food insecurity will know the joy of enjoying a Thanksgiving feast this year! That’s a staggering 9,434 people … so far! We still have frozen turkeys to give away at our evening food pantries tonight and tomorrow thanks to your generosity!
On Saturday’s delivery day we had 151 volunteers working onsite and meals were delivered by 367 drivers over 386 routes. This includes at least 72 students who signed up to drive with an adult as a unique way to serve!
Many, many thanks to the dozens of volunteers who worked tirelessly behind-the-scenes for weeks getting food organized, packing, mapping delivery routes, verifying addresses, making reminder calls and so much more. YOU are the real heroes in this small revolution of kindness!
