Be a Getting Ahead Dinner Hero!
Do you like to cook or provide meals to a group? This is a volunteer opportunity for you! Thorough out the year we have opportunities for you, your small group or church to provide a meal to a group of families that are enrolled in Getting Ahead. These are families investigating poverty and what it takes for them to rise out of the day to day struggles of living in poverty.
When a group is in session dinner is provided for the whole family. The number of people is typically around 30. The food needs to be delivered to the Getting Ahead group by 5:15. Dinner is served at 5:30. We currently do not have the facilities to warm it up. Please see listings below for delivery locations.
